Your Egyptologist / guide takes you on a private tour to some of the most spectacular highlights of ancient Egypt.
- You’ll see the Sphinx and the three Great Pyramids. Your guide can arrange for you entry to one or two of the pyramids and a camel ride which not only is fun to do but also makes a great picture with the pyramids in the background.
- In the prominent Egyptian Museum you see the amazing collection of pharaonic treasures, including the mask of the boy-king Tutankhamun made of pure gold.
- During a relaxed walk through the oldest part of Cairo, known as the Coptic area, you visit some of the world's oldest churches dating back to the 4th century and see the place where the holy family stayed while they took refuge in Egypt.
- In Cairo’s medieval Islamic part you visit the impressive alabaster Muhammad Ali mosque situated high on a hill behind the walls of the Citadel. The view of Cairo's skyline with countless minarets is just amazing. From here your guide takes you to a historic Oriental bazaar dating from the 14th century. Taste the atmosphere of this colorful vivid bazaar which offers a great shopping experience and drink a tea or smoke a waterpipe with the Egyptians.
During the evenings you have the chance enjoying a dinner cruise on the Nile while being entertained by belly-dancers and/or attend the beautiful Sound & Light show at the pyramids.
