The Grand Egypt Golf & Culture Tour starts in Cairo, where tee-times are reserved for you to play on several Championship courses. For the second part of the tour, you fly all the way to the southern border to embark on a luxurious cruise. During the cruise you visit the ancient temples along the Nile. In Luxor you have the chance to play on a desert golf course.
Throughout the tour you play four rounds of golf on the following Championship Courses.
- Dreamland, with a spectacular view of the pyramids in the background has fairways that wind around grassy mounds and lakes. A fantastic Championship course that offers challenges for golfers of all calibre.The Dreamland Golf Course is a creation of the American golf course architect Karl Litten.
- Golf course architect Yves Bureau designed Katameya Heights, Egypt's first and largest 18 hole Championship Golf Course. The course with many doglegs meanders over a hilly terrain. Some holes are 'stadium style' winding beneath beautiful villa's.
- Mirage Golf Course, designed by European architect Peter Harradine, is a Garden of Eden, with flowers, meandering streams, waterfalls and ponds. This different style Championship golf course has 13 of the 18 holes built along streams and ponds that add both to its beauty and to its golf challenges.
- In Luxor, the city of antiquities, you can play a round of golf on the Royal Valley Golf Course, designed by Arthur Davis. The flat desert Championship course with its ponds and desert “rough” brings plenty of challenges for both the “happy hacker” and the more serious player.

In Cairo, your private Egyptologist / guide provides you with excellent explanations during the excursions to Pharaonic and Medieval Cairo. Of course you see the great pyramids and the mysterious sphinx. On top of that you visit the necropolis of Saqqara with pyramids and mastabas. You'll be guided through old Cairo where you can familiarize yourself with the roots of Christianity while visiting some of the world's first churches. In the medieval Islamic part of Cairo you visit the beautiful mosque of Muhammad Ali and can absorb the atmosphere of an Oriental bazaar. You also will have lots of time to admire the pharaonic treasures during a guided tour in the world-famous Egyptian Museum.
For the second part of the tour, a flight to Aswan brings you to the starting point of a four days luxurious cruise on the Nile. Included in the cruise program are guided visits of the amazing temples of the gods and goddesses of ancient Egypt. Not only will you see the temples, your guide provides you with detailed information about the premises and the god forms. The cruise ends in Luxor where you visit the royal tombs as well as several temples sites. For your comfort you'll have an extra day in Luxor to play golf and relax at a luxurious resort.
